‘Face to Face’ Netflix Movie Review - Wesh X Wesh

Face to Face is a 2024 Netflix movie which is originally in Arabic. The movie is about a married couple and how their marriage starts to lose its glow. I don't usually watch Arabic films and if I am being precise then this is my 3rd or 4th Arabic movie. Face to Face grabbed my attention as I explored more Arabic films on Netflix. The movie was recently added to Netflix, and I thought of giving it a try.

The movie is about a husband and wife and their quarreling married life. Both of them have been losing interest in their marriage and it is slowly losing the charm they used to have. Well, I have seen many movies with this concept, but I expected more as it is in Arabic. My expectations were not that high, but it doesn't mean I didn't expect good things from this series.

Honestly, the movie made me laugh a lot. It has a lot of comedy scenes that made me laugh so hard. The family of the main lead is so nosy that they keep on interfering in everything the couple would do. The whole family meddles in their problems and tries to solve their issues to keep them close to one another.

But do you think this would really help the couple? I watched the entire movie to see what exactly the family would do to solve them. But the movie was totally the opposite. When they learn that the main leads are not doing well as a couple they come to their house to make things right but accidentally everyone gets locked inside of the apartment.

The whole night all of them spent together, but it was more like WWE rather than a Family stay. I laughed so hard when the family members tried to solve the couple's problems but instead of that they started to fight. The fights were so funny that I laughed till the end of the movie.

Even though it was very funny I won't say that I loved the movie to the fullest. Some characters felt like they were not needed for the movie and the overall story was okay. The writer could have made the movie better by adding more details to the movie.

Many parts of the movie were not necessarily needed and some even didn't make any sense. At one point in time, I felt bored of the movie, but as there were many comedy scenes it kept me going till the end.

If you want to watch a family movie with your family then Face to Face can be a good movie to watch. The movie is not long. It is almost a 2-hour movie, you will have fun watching it and it will be a fresh story for you. Some scenes can bore you, but you can watch it for entertainment and a good laugh with your family.
