‘Love With Its Details’ Netflix Movie Review - Weak in All Aspects

This might not be the best watch for you, not even an average watch, rather I would suggest this movie is better skipped. If you are someone who values time and story, then I would suggest saving and investing your precious one hour and forty-five minutes into something better than watching this movie. So here is what happens: Ramiz comes from a wealthy family. Post his father’s death, he comes to Egypt. He is shown to be a lady's man, with girls swooning over him. Like any typical romcom is shown to be great with kids, especially with this nephew. He is also a self-made man who gave up on his father’s wealth, went to Bahrain, and built a life for himself. This does make him a package to fall for.

And then we have Sherine a fierce lawyer. Throughout the movie, I have only wondered why she has so much makeup on, but well the bigger concern here is the plot, so this aspect gets ignored. Now coming to the plot-  picture this: a classic tale of boy meets girl, entwined in a whirlwind romance. They share sweet moments of romance, those tender moments, and the initial phases of falling in love.

But hold on here’s the twist. Sherine doesn’t know the truth about Ramiz and his wealth. And you are wondering why Ramiz didn’t tell her about the reality? Here’s why. Because Sherine is adamant about not falling in love with a rich guy (like what on earth is this absurdity?) now he fears losing her because of his family background and decides to keep it a secret. In this bid, he leads a double life where he is something else in front of his lady love, and behind her back, he is this super-wealthy man who can literally buy anything.

But wait, it’s a secret and this is a movie, so obviously this secret won't go into the grave with Ramiz. And boom! Sherine one find days finds out about the truth. Will Ramiz ever get back to Sherine? Will Sherine ever be able to forgive Ramiz? If you are smart enough, you might guess the entire plot just by reading this review.

Love With Its Details is filled with overacting by literally everyone who is cast in that movie. With exaggerated gestures and emotions, the cast might even feel very irritated. The acting is too weak and it fails to capture your attention right from the start. At the end of the movie, it feels like the makers realized that they dragged it a bit too much and thus decided to quickly wrap it up. This is a poorly executed movie. As the plot unfolds, you may begin to wonder why you picked this film amidst a sea of recent releases. And in those moments of doubt, rest assured, you're not the only one questioning your decision—I'm right there with you, pondering the same choice.
