‘Slyth The Hunt Saga’ Netflix Movie Review - Is this Film Completely Wasted?

Slyth The Hunt Saga is a sci-fi movie about the issues faced by people after a dangerous forest fire ruins the entire environment and makes it hard for people to survive. Thailand has been producing some good movies and shows. I have been watching Thai movies and series, and fortunately, I have come through very few wasted plot movies and series, but Slyth the Hunt Saga is a type of sci-fi movie that didn't give off a bored vibe at first glance.

Slyth the Hunt Saga is written by Nuttapot Potchumnean along with Peed Panchapong Kongkanoi. The director of the movie is also Peed Panchapong Kongkanoi. Slyth the Hunt Saga was officially released on December 5, 2023. Since the day it was released, I have been looking forward to it.

Now that it is available on Netflix, I am extremely excited to watch it. Well, personally, Luke is my favorite, and he is one of the cast members of the movie. So basically, I had huge expectations for this particular movie. Unfortunately, it didn't fascinate me with its plot.

The concept, visual effects, and star cast of the movie are so perfect, but the movie wasted its potential. It could have been framed beautifully and interestingly, but the movie is a failure in my eyes.

The plot of the Slyth the Hunt Saga is about a reptilian species who seem to be the one and only hope that protects and saves society, which is on the verge of dying. A very hazardous forest fire ruins the entire society because of the rise of pollutants that take place after the forest fire.

The unique species possesses power, and they can change themselves into humans and cure diseases that seem to be not at all easy to cure. At first, the movie seems interesting as it involves an alien species that is based on Sumerian lore, which is basically ancient, and it is about the Annunaki.

The movie is totally ruined; the story seems baseless, whereas they had chosen one of the best concepts. Apart from the action scenes, visual effects, and concept, the movie is purely wasted.

If you are planning to watch it, then you can kill some time when you are bored. But overall, this is not a sci-fi movie worth watching, unlike other Thai movies. The amazing skills of the star cast and the visual effects will keep you invested in the movie.
