Marvel Studios has revealed a new trailer for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ which teases the return of Doctor Strange or at least one sorcerer from the multiverse. It also shows multiple variants of Wolverine.

The trailer begins with Logan sitting down in a bar (the scene has a resemblance to Wolverine's cameo in X-Men: First Class) as Deadpool says hi and asks Wolverine to come with him. Both of them continue bickering and later Deadpool explains why he needed him. The trailer includes some footage from the previous trailer, but it includes many new scenes. The trailer also shows multiple variants of Wolverine as well as a giant head of Ant-Man. At the end of the trailer, Deadpool and Wolverine jump together in a portal that seems to be opened by Doctor Strange or one of his sorcerers.

Shawn Levy directs DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE which stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni, Matthew Macfadyen, Leslie Uggams, Rob Delaney, and Stefan Kapicic among others.

Below are the new posters revealed by Marvel Studios today:

Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, and Lauren Shuler Donner produce with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey, Simon Kinberg, and Jonathon Komack Martin serving as executive producers. DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE is written by Ryan Reynolds & Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick & Zeb Wells & Shawn Levy.

Marvel Studios’ DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE opens in U.S. & Canadian movie theaters on July 26, 2024, and will be available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens everywhere.

The revealed images had already teased that the plot will follow the story of Multiverse introducing us to the Deadpool Corps, a multi-dimensional team of alternate reality Deadpools. Like every other thing in the Multiverse, Deadpool also has many variants, and the variants shown in the images are Dogpool, Knightpool, and the original Deadpool from the FOX universe. In the comics, Deadpool Corps also included Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, Headpool, Pandapool, Grootpool, Motorpool, Squirrelpool, Hawkeyepool, and others. MCU doesn't have any Deadpool in the present universe, but there could be another Deadpool from the X-Men universe who was last seen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
